The Piver Nugget 1001

 


I imagine that this is 1966. This is the Piver Nugget, a 24 foot plywood trimaran. Longueuil was a hotbed for trimaran building and design. The Chevalier brothers Jean, Normand and Pierre built several along with their uncle Emile Chevalier. This one was  built by  Geoffrion.

Greeting & Escorting Bluenose II

 

We greet and escort Bluenose II. We sailed down river from our club in Longueuil to escort the Bluenose with our 24 foot ketch. We were the only sail boat although there were a couple of motor cruisers.
